The Recreation and Parks Commission meets at the Marblehead Community Center. Notices of these meetings are posted at the Town Clerks office and on the web site. Agendas and minutes are also now posted on the site; please see "public meetings" on the main home page for links.

The five members of the Recreation and Parks Commission are elected annually. The Department’s mission is to enhance the quality of life and environment for the residents of Marblehead. This is accomplished by the development of a variety of recreational activities in a safe and enjoyable setting, and through the care and maintenance of the Town's parks, athletic fields, and recreational areas.
