About

The mission of Jordan Public Schools is to Inspire a caring community to ignite learning, innovation, and success for all. We are located on Highway 169, just nine miles south of Shakopee and 30 minutes south of MinneapolisSt. Paul, in the beautiful Minnesota River Valley. The population of Jordan is approximately 6,000. Our unique student and family friendly single campus has excellent facilities and located near many residential areas, including the historic downtown and a new public library are within walking distance of the school campus. Our high school was built in 2003 and we are excited for the finished complete renovation of our middle school building with the adjacent construction of the new 45,000 square foot Jordan Community Education and Recreation Center (CERC).

Jordan students consistently score at the top of the Minnesota River Conference and our athletic and fine arts are second to none. We are excited for the 1:1 Technology Program with students in grades 5-12 receiving Chromebook Flip devices for the 2015-2016 academic year.
